Expert travel writer:
Will’s writing career has taken him all over the world from sailing in Antarctica to the World Eskimo Olympics in Alaska He spent 12 years on the travel desk of the Times, where he had his own weekly travel column.
He now freelances for a number of publications including the Financial Times, Sunday Times and the Mail on Sunday and his work is syndicated abroad in the US, Middle and Far East and Australasia, for titles including The Age (Sydney) and The National (UAE).
Will has always had the travel bug – as a teenager he lived with his family in Hong Kong and used that as a springboard for trips to China and the Philippines. It continued at university when he trekked up the Khyber Pass and along the Afghan/Pakistan border for a month.
His love of travel stems in large part from the endless opportunities to meet different people, and he firmly believes that everyone has a story to tell.”
