Hotel Forum Evolucion

Last updated: 30 December, 2023

A real bargain in the heart of Burgos, this slick little 3-star hotel in a renovated older building takes its name from the nearby Museum of Human Evolution and the Forum Congress Centre.

Crisp Scandinavian design prevails in the bedrooms and public areas, with local wine culture as the main theme; large pictures of grapes on the walls, and wine-based bath products.

It offers inexpensive parking 50m away and free bike storage, a good breakfast and a friendly English-speaking welcome, for couples, pilgrims or families who want to be in walking distance of the sights.

Surrounding area

Calle Santa Clara is a calm, mostly 19th- and 20th-century residential street with a few shops, while a block away is the new Museum of Human Evolution and the bridge over to the historic centre of Burgos.

The Plaza Mayor, Cathedral, restaurants and bars are a six-minute walk away.
