QT Bondi

Last updated: 27 December, 2023

Stepping into the buzzy reception area at QT Bondi is to enter a citadel of global coolness.

The QT brand is about having fun in the sun and looking obscenely gorgeous. If you tick any of these boxes, you’ll love this beachside pleasure palace, with its retro murals, designer chairs and chilled vibe.

There is plenty to love about this hotel: firstly, its sense of playfulness evident in the surf-themed pop art in the foyer; and secondly, its location, just five minutes from the pounding surf on Bondi Beach. Need to tone your body before hitting the waves? No worries. There’s an excellent fitness club onsite.

Surrounding area

Just one street back from Campbell Parade, QT Bondi is lodged in the beating heart of this famous suburb. Beach Road is packed with ultra-cool cafes, with a sprinkling of hairdressers, grocery stores, gelati outlets and apartment blocks.

There is plenty of pedestrian traffic, but it’s manageable during the week.

Bondi Beach is Australia’s most famous beach – a magnet for swimmers and surfers alike. It’s not just a place to swim, surf or sunbathe, but a complete lifestyle. This is the Vatican City of body shaping. When they are not riding the waves, locals are jogging on the beach, doing yoga on the clifftops, or gyrating in the outdoor gym.

Rampant property prices have transformed this English-style seafront into bubble of affluence and it an international hot spot, with a dazzling array of cafés, restaurants and bars.
