This rustic resort is all about the golf – where you stay depends on which of the two courses you’ve booked to play. The Dunes offers a choice of Victoria-style beach boxes or newer two-bedroom oceanside villas; Lost Farm players get a modern eco-lodge with superb views of the golf course. Here you’ll also find a tiny spa – where you can sit in the magnesium bath and take in the surrounding wilderness. The overall style has a rustic elegance and the amenities are excellent.
The hotel may appeal almost exclusively to golfers, but the setting is a nature-lover’s dream: wallabies roam the wild and natural brush, while the beach is perfect for a solitary amble.
