Ameron Davos Swiss Mountain Resort

Last updated: 30 December, 2023

This centrally-located four-star hotel combines slick rooms and mountain views (all rooms have a balcony), with excellent facilities for children.  As well as a kids’ club and games room stocked with Lego and board games, there’s a large pool that hosts a daily Splash Time (2-4.30pm), when it belongs to the kids. The adults-only sauna offers the perfect escape for parents to relax and unwind.

The Cantinetta restaurant has a varied children’s buffet, while typical Swiss fondue and raclette are served in the Cervolino restaurant, using a variety of cheeses from a local dairy.

Resort

Davos may not be the most attraction of ski towns, but what it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for with stunning mountain scenery and extensive, varied slopes for all abilities.

There are several ski areas to choose from; Parsenn is the biggest and best known, with some remarkably long slopes. There are several ‘Children’s Land’ ski/play areas throughout the resort, with magic carpets, tubing slopes, trampolines and even kids’ skidoos.
