This hedonistic mountain retreat is housed in a striking all-wood and glass building in a spectacular setting: a 1,800m-high alpine meadow with a backdrop of peaks and pinnacles.

Inspired from the owners’ travels in Namibia, the hotel’s design brings in elements of an African safari lodge, with its airy open-plan spaces, giant viewing windows, and hide rugs and chairs. The spa treatments are highly rated, using natural mountain and African ingredients.

About Seiser Alm

Seiser Alm is Europe’s largest high-altitude plateau, dotted with alpine huts and barns, the mighty Dolomite mountains as a backdrop.

There is direct access to 60km of gentle slopes, with the top elevation rising above 2,200m, so snow cover is generally good. Skiers can also venture further afield to the vast Sella Ronda ski area.
