Mediterraneo Marine Park [Swim with dolphins]

  • Malta

Last updated: 01 August, 2025

This family-friendly marine-themed park offers a mix of entertainment, education and close-up animal encounters. Set against the Mediterranean backdrop, the park features open-air enclosures and theatre-style seating, where visitors can enjoy live performances by dolphins, sea lions, parrots and reptiles.

The park is best known for its interactive programmes, including swimming with dolphins, sea lion encounters and animal training sessions, all led by professional handlers. Designed with an educational focus, it aims to raise awareness about marine life and conservation through fun, hands-on learning experiences.

Though smaller than many international marine parks, it offers an intimate, relaxed atmosphere and is particularly suited to families with children.

Swim with dolphins

The park offers a swim with bottlenose dolphins experience, which takes place in a supervised, saltwater pool setting overlooking the Mediterranean. You can choose between dry/on-land close meet and greets, a shallow-water encounter, interactive swims, and a trainer-for-a-day experience.
