This is a stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Vail Village, a short walk from the main lifts. It has impeccable service: guests can expect daily greetings by name, flawless room service and a ski valet who will take their gear to and from the slopes.
The bedrooms and suites all feature 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton bed sheets and posh bathrooms. Some have fabulous views of the Rockies.
The hotel’s art collection is a big draw – limited-edition sculptures and paintings grace the walls. The outdoor mountain-view pool and hot tubs are another highlight, as is the hotel’s Leonora restaurant, which offers gourmet-esque dishes inspired by local ingredients.
Note, prices skyrocket in January and February – it’s much better value in the shoulder seasons. Also don’t discount non-ski seasons. There’s a host of summer activities on offer, including an exclusive 2-night stay in a luxury tent in the Rocky Mountains.
